Reliance Law Firm has grown from the practice of one of Nepal's most respected lawyers into a full-service firm recognised at home and abroad.
The Founder
A Columbia University law graduate, Mr. Shakya founded Reliance Law Firm in 1995 and has since led numerous noteworthy assignments across diverse arenas of law. He has extensive experience in corporate, commercial and banking litigation, arbitration, foreign direct investment, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, and has been retained by leading banks and corporates of Nepal as their legal advisor.
Also regarded as a constitutional expert, he has worked extensively on policy issues and served on various committees of the Government of Nepal. Chambers Asia-Pacific has recognised him for excellence in the constitutional law sphere and regarded him as an eminent lawyer since 2009.
